Terms of service

You keep all rights to the photos, videos, and other content you upload. We don't claim ownership and we don't use your work for marketing without explicit, opt-in permission.

You grant us a limited license to host, transcode, deliver, and display your content for the purpose of running the service — that's what makes Lepta Studio work. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we never share it with third-party model providers.

Don't use Lepta Studio to:

• Host or distribute content that infringes someone's copyright or rights of publicity.
• Host CSAM, content depicting non-consensual sexual acts, or content that facilitates real-world harm.
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email through Lepta Studio's delivery systems.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Resell or sublicense the service without a written reseller agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules. We'll always try to give you a chance to remedy first, except in cases of clear illegality.

Paid plans renew automatically on the same calendar day each billing period. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; your plan stays active until the period ends, with no further charges.

Refunds: we'll happily refund any charge made within the last 30 days, no questions asked. Older charges are not refundable.

Taxes: prices are shown excluding VAT/GST/sales tax where applicable. The correct tax is added at checkout based on your billing address.

When your clients pay you through Lepta Studio, the funds are processed by Stripe and paid out to the bank account you connect. Lepta Studio doesn't hold your money. You agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement when you enable invoicing.

Disputes and chargebacks are handled directly between you, your client, and Stripe. We're happy to help you respond.

We aim for 99.95% uptime and publish real-time status at lepta.studio/status. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, but we work hard at it and we publish honest postmortems when we fall short.

Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance.

Lepta Studio is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, business interruption — even if we've been told they could happen. Some jurisdictions don't allow this; in those, our liability is the minimum permitted.

You can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that materially breach these terms or remain inactive for more than 24 months. We'll give you 30 days' notice and the chance to export your data, except in cases of clear abuse.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state and federal courts of San Francisco County, except where local consumer law gives you the right to your local courts.

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email account owners at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance. The previous version stays available on request.
